How the Epinions
Merchant Network Program Works
Step 1:
Sign Up
Fill out the merchant form � an
Epinions sales representative will contact you within 24 hours. You
can select from one of three listing options on Epinions:
- Featured Merchant: Guaranteed placement near the top of
the "Compare Prices" table plus a free review content license.
- Logo Merchant: Your logo will be displayed in the
�Compare Prices� table below Featured Merchants.
- Text-only Merchant: Your name (no logo) will be
displayed in the �Compare Prices� table below Featured and Logo
merchants.
Step 2: Integrate Your
Data
Epinions will collect product inventory and pricing
information from your Web site in one of three ways:
- Via a data feed that you provide. You can update this feed multiple times per day.
This is the recommended method.
- We can crawl your site to obtain the information and regularly update our database with your site changes.
- If you are a Yahoo! Store, we can obtain the information automatically from the Yahoo! Store platform
Once we receive product and pricing information from your site, Epinions
will integrate this data into our product listings. Any unique
products that you offer which are not currently in the Epinions
catalog will be added within a few weeks. Offers for a given product
are listed from highest to lowest paying merchant.
Step 3: Reporting
Upon joining the Epinions Merchant Network you will have
access to our Merchant Center where you can monitor your traffic,
generate reports, and check on the status of your data feed.
