Good pair of headphones for active lifestyle. Exceptionally well-built. More than decent sound. If you're looking for neckband headphones, you already found them.

The Sound. Musicality. Doesn't subtract or add to recording. Make sure you have a player that does the same. Doesn't punch up the bass register into unreality.

For those of us who listen to music hours on end (e.g. @work) but are not extremely picky about sound reproduction (like musicians ...), this headphone is a good choice.

The Sony MDR-CD2000 is a good performer - but not good enough to justify its $200-plus price premium over similar-performing headphones.

For anyone who's looking for final solution in personal listening, try the MDR-F1 from Sony. They are beautiful sounding gem and I heard they will be discontinued soon.
