JBL's Thermalum woofer cone is a hybrid material that combines polypropylene and a nickel alloy. The combination of these two materials delivers a cone that is extremely rigid yet lightweight. Constant Directivity horned loaded tweeter utilized on this plate design loudspeaker optimizes high frequency performance. Butyl Surrounds are used to guarantee long-term reliability by rejecting moisture and ultraviolet contamination. JBL's new Neoglass tweeter provides flawless frequency response clear out to 22kHz. An all new Powerstat cast polymer basket creates a non-resonant platform improving midrange clarity and significantly reducing distortion. It will fit both 5 x 7" and 6 x 8" factory openings and can be converted to a component system using the optional P-Kit. |
