Includes liner notes by Wayne Coyne. This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files. Subtitled A COLLECTION OF SONGS REPRESENTING AN ENTHUSIASM FOR RECORDING...BY AMATEURS, this compilation represents some of the more interesting creative byways the Lips went down during their heyday as Okie psychedelic garage-rockers. Bizarre imagery and often out-of-tune instruments were commonplace, meaning songs such as "Jesus Shootin' Heroin" and "Bag Full Of Thoughts" can easily be mistaken for NUGGETS outtakes.
