The Black & Decker SmartGrind Deluxe Coffee Bean Mill is a compact, efficient unit with a number of convenient features. Standard equipment for this model include a clear coffee bean cup with lid, clear grounds receptacle with lid, compact motor base, and measuring scoop. To use, measure coffee beans into the cup. Turn the grind select ring to the desired texture, from fine to coarse; the grind select ring clicks into place at each of its fourteen settings. Turn the timer dial to select the grinding time and press the on/off button. The mill shuts off upon completion of grinding. To interrupt grinding, press the on/off button. The instructions provide a chart of approximate grinding times, and you can experiment to find the right time to suit your own preferences. The mill uses grinding wheels to crush the beans, rather than chop or slice them, producing a uniform grind full of flavor. |
