Details: For those wishing to create their own a la carte system for observing, Meade offers the optical tube assemblies of their fine Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. The ETX-125 is portable and potent, capable of modest deep space observing without being too terribly difficult to carry. All of the Meade optical tube assemblies are offered exclusively with their UHTC Ultra-High Transmission Coatings, which increase the effectiveness of any telescope aperture-for-aperture without adding to the weight of the rig.
