Having been deeply involved with the development of the DVD-RAM format, Panasonic has released a DVD Video Recorder that can record on both DVD-RAM discs and DVD-R discs. Capable of high-speed data transmission and high-speed random access, this recorder offers countless recording and playback possibilities. Using the DMR-E20, you can record up to 12 hours of video on new 2-sided, 9.4GB DVD-RAM discs. These discs can be played back on a DVD-RAM compatible DVD player - such as Panasonic's DVD-RP91 or DVD-H2000. Instead of just shooting videos, now you can edit them too. Random access makes it easy to perform simple non-linear editing using just a single DVD Video Recorder, with no need for additional editing equipment.
