Aimed at both the corporate network and home desktop, the MT Digit authenticates user access using proven biometric technology, raising the bar for data access security. With access granted in less than one second, the MT Digit does away with the hassles involved in remembering and keying in passwords. ??The MT Digit plugs into the PC's parallel port and offers the user a parallel pass-through feature, which ensures the printer, fingerprint reader, or any other parallel port device remains online. The MT Digit can be used on any network or stand-alone PC running Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0. New user registration, including fingerprint registration and management, is performed by the familiar Windows NT User Manager. The MT Digit utilizes Identix's DFR -200 fingerprint reader and is powered by Identix's BioLogon network security software. |
