The Sony DAV-HDX265 home entertainment system has a maximum output of 1000 watts, and features the BRAVIA system, which allows a BRAVIA-compatible television to send control signals via HDMI. This Sony Home Theater System also features Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC), which simplifies the setup of multi-channel surround sound. The surround sound boasts a 5.1 channel setup. The DVD player of this Sony Home Theater System has a 720p/1080i output, for the latest HD televisions. Also included in the Sony DAV-HDX265 home entertainment system is Bluetooth for other capable devices, such as WiFi-enabled PCs and portable music players. The built-in decoders of the DVD player include Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital, and a DTS decoder. Playable formats on this unit include DVD+RW, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD, and CD. Progressive scanning and JPEG photo playback are also included in this device. The Sony Home Theater System includes two right/left rear channel speakers, a subwoofer, and a central channel speaker. This home entertainment system contains an AM/FM radio tuner and an infrared remote control.
