Tributee: Jonas Brothers. Tributee: Jonas Brothers. You don't have to be in the public's gaze more than a heartbeat anymore to get the tribute treatment. Have the Jonas Brothers, the latest kid band in a long tradition of them, actually already built up a body of work? Apparently so, because this set plays tribute to that recorded legacy, brief as it is. It's actually pretty listenable, with an anonymous session group called the String Tribute Players providing quasi classical string arrangements to ten Jonas Brothers songs, and it's even endearingly joyous at times, done with a barely tangible wink. |
