"Here is Midway's action-packed arcade football game, now ported to the PlayStation home console. The game is very similar to the arcade game, hough there are a few tweaks. As in the arcade, you can play with up to two players, one on offense and one on defense. The game plays like normal football, but with much more speed and far fewer rules. The result is a fun, if slightly warped look at the NFL. Every team is faithfully represented, as are the players. There are a lot of realistic tackles and other animations that help to add to the realism of the game, and the announcer adds plenty of funny sayings and exclamations. For anyone that likes to recreate games with their favorite teams but doesn't like the rules that slow the action down, NFL BLITZ is the perfect solution!" |
