This Yamaha home theater system receiver (HTR-5560) is a 6.1-channel receiver that uses Yamaha's Digital ToP-ART Technology to ensure clear transmission. It offers four optical inputs, one coaxial digital input, and a digital audio output. The Yamaha YHT-900 HTR-5560 also provides Dolby Digital EX and Matrix 6.1-channel, DTS Digital Surround, DTS-ES, DTS-ES Matrix, and Dolby Pro Logic II decoding. The 5-disc DVD changer plays DVD-Audio, DVD-Video, CDs, and VCDs. It plays back CD-R/RW discs, DVD-RAM discs, and MP3s. Yamaha's Quad-Field Cinema DSP and Virtual Cinema DSP are incorporated to offer 21 surround programs. Using Virtual Cinema DSP, this Yamaha home theater system also uses just two speakers to provide a multi-channel surround experience.
