The 1997 Astro Cargo Van is available with durability in mind. Included in addition to the three year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper limited warranty (with no deductible) is an extended maintenance service interval. This extended service interval is do in part to the, all new, long life coolant that does not need to be changed for five years or 100,000 miles, the addition of spark plugs which can last up to a 100,000 miles, engine timing that never needs to checked, and an accessory drive belt that can go 100,000 miles without being changed. New items include a 20 second delayed illuminated entry system, daytime running lights, and the programable Homelink universal transmitter which operates up to three different remote control devices.
