| The 1997 Saab is available in six models - Coupe, Hatchback and Convertible available in S and SE trim levels. New exterior paint colors include Midnight Blue and Cayenne Red, introduced with a new metallic flake that defuses reflected light, producing a deeper color. The hatchbacks have available integrated child safety seats which are suitable for children from three to ten years of age. The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration gives the Saab 900 a Crash test rating of better than average. All models offer an optional automatic transmission that includes three driver controlled shift modes; sport, normal and winter. The SE models have standard leather seating. |
