The 1998 Grand Caravan is available in five models - (Base), SE, Sport, LE and ES. New for 1998 is a high-output 3.8 liter V6 engine with 180 horsepower, an automatic-dimming left outside mirror with automatic headlamps, available easy-entry left Quad seat and seat-back grocery bag hooks. A left side sliding door is standard on all models. Quad bucket seating and integrated child seating are available. An improved 5-point seat belt system for integrated child safety seats offers simpler buckling and belt removal. The Quad Command left seat tilts forward for easy access to the rear seat. Leather seats are optional on LE and ES models.
