| The Ranger Regular Cab returns for the 2001 model year with several changes. The regular cab line-up now includes the Edge series, available in both 2WD and 4WD. The XL 4WD model has been discontinued. Exterior changes on all models include a new grille, bumpers, and headlamps. There are also several new exterior colors including Sliver Frost Metallic, Woodland Green Metallic, Bright Island Blue Metallic, and Chrome Yellow Clearcoat (Edge model only). The Ranger Regular Cab series also features improved braking, with the addition of standard four-wheel ABS on all models. A SecuriLock passive anti-theft system, tachometer, dual note horn, and air conditioning (except on the XL model) are also standard equipment. |
