| The Sonata returns for the 2001 model year with minimal changes to the interior and exterior. It is available in two models: Base and GLS. New for this year is the addition of leather seats as an option. Other options include three option packages,a rear spoiler, a keyless remote entry system, and a sunroof wind deflector. Air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with CD, cruise control, and power windows and door locks are standard equipment. GLS models are available with four-wheel ABS brakes with traction control for added driver stability. Additional safety features include side air bags, rear child safety door locks, rear child safety seat anchors, and adjustable seatbelts. The Sonata offers a five-year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. |
