The Jaguar X-Type arrives as an all new model for the 2002 model year. The X-Type is a near-luxury sport sedan with a standard Jaguar Traction-4 All Wheel Drive system. Power is provided by a standard 2.5L V6 engine with 194 horsepower mated to a five-speed manual transmission. A five-speed automatic is optional. Additional motivation is available with the optional 3.0L V6 engine with 231 horsepower. This engine features a standard automatic transmission with a five-speed manual as a no-charge option. Standard equipment includes Connolly leather-trimmed seats, automatic climate control, and four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes. Options include a Navigation system, Sport Package, and Power Convenience Package.
