The 2002 Grand Prix is available in five models: SE sedan, GT, GTP coupes and sedans. Items previously optional are now standard, including cruise control and a remote trunk lid release. The 40th Anniversary Edition package is new this year, and includes a unique exterior appearance, chrome wheels, and two-tone leather seating in Ruby Red and Gray. New exterior colors include Dark Tropic Metallic, Ivory White, and Dark Cherry Metallic. The Grand Prix continues to be available in the following models: SE Sedan, GT Coupe and Sedan, and GTP Coupe and Sedan. Engine choices are matched with the individual models. SE models include a 175-hp 3.1L V6, GT models include a 200-hp 3.8L V6, and GTP models feature a 240-hp supercharged 3.8L V6.
