| The Tacoma pickup has been carried over with minor alterations for 2002. It is again available as a regular cab, extended cab, or a four-door double cab. Both the regular and extended cab models are equipped with a 2.7L four-cylinder engine, with a 3.4L 190-hp V6 available at extra cost. The double cabs come standard with the V6 and a four-speed automatic transmission. The Tacomas safety features include dual front airbags, side-impact door beams, and available anti-lock brakes. Several upgrade packages are available on the Tacoma, providing features such as off-road suspension (4WD models), alloy wheels, privacy glass, and color-keyed exterior trim. A variety of post production accessories are also available. |
