The CMP 15 exhibits incredible detail during subtle musical passages and maintains its composure at extreme sound levels. What sets the CMP 15 apart from other high-end drivers is it's unique under-hung motor assembly that uses a short voice coil in a long magnetic gap. This design ensures a completely linear response at all output levels because the voice coil stays where it belongs. With over two inches of excursion peak to peak, the CMP 15 can move a lot of air so you no longer have to sacrifice SPL for sound quality. The CMP 15 features precision-machined steel parts and is finished with an engraved backplate. This magnificent bass machine is hand-assembled in the USA and weighs in at a whopping 35 lbs! |
