The Kenwood VR-3080 features Dolby Digital and DTS sound processing with 100 watts of power distributed equally to all channels in both stereo and surround modes. This receiver will determine whether the software's soundtrack is DTS, Dolby Digital or Dolby Pro-Logic, and will automatically switch to the appropriate mode. Audio is enhanced with the 20-bit resolution crystal semiconductor A/D and D/A converters, which are found in all of the receivers in this line. All of the inputs and outputs allow you to easily operate a multi-source home theater system with this component as the core unit. These inputs include four S-video ins, one S-video out, two coaxial digital audio ins, two optical digital audio ins, and front-panel A/V inputs with S-video. Kenwood also equipped this receiver with a five-mode DSP system so you can adjust the acoustic environment to your liking.
