The VSX-D498 Dolby Digital receiver by Pioneer is a surround sound receiver that can easily serve as the centerpiece of a home theater system. The amplifier outputs 80 watts per channel across five channels to provide plenty of power for each speaker in your system. Four audio and four video inputs (with independent minidisc/tape and VCR inputs) leave plenty of room for adding on components, and three digital inputs give the receiver the ability to receive digital bit-stream signals from your DVD player. There is also one set of front audio-video inputs and separate subwoofer and center channel pre-outputs. |
