The R-V703 is a high-quality versatile home theater receiver providing superb Dolby Pro Logic performance and processing and Yamaha's Digital Sound Field processing. The R-V703 can easily accept the decoded output from any 5.1 channel surround system, whether it's Dolby Digital, MPEG2, or a system not yet developed. The unit features Cinema DSP, discrete power transistors and dual center channel outputs for utilizing two center channel speakers for a larger system or with a big screen television. Yamaha's famed low impedance drive circuitry is included in this receiver so that it can handle virtually all loads and a wide variety of speakers. For further speaker matching, the receiver's back-panel switches can be set for either high or low-impedance main speakers and either high or low-impedance center and surround speakers. The advanced universal remote control comes already programmed with codes for most A/V products. Subwoofer volume level can also be controlled by the remote keypad. |
