More Information
Details: The Pioneer DV-606D is well thought out and full featured. It supports Dolby Digital and DTS formats. The unit itself is about the size and weight of a regular CD player. The front panel is clean and again reminds one of a centrally loaded CD transport. The front panel has disc transport controls (Play, etc.) and buttons for the various surround modes. It also has a button that turns the luminous display off which is very nice once you have settled in to watch a disc.??The DV-606D performs flawlessly in DVD mode with absolutely phenomenal picture quality with extremely full deep blacks and no digital artifacts. The 5.1 CH sound is absolutely awesome, making regular pro-logic seem like so much mush. Pioneer Exclusive Viter-Bi RF Decoding process allows for improved error correcting capability. This player also features the newly developed Accurate Digital Servo for precise data reading and Automatic Gain Level Adjustment that minimizes jitter.
