Sharp's VC-H812U has many of the features that you would expect to find on a typical mid-priced VCR. It includes 19-micron heads, A/V inputs on the front panel, an auto head cleaner, SQPB (S-VHS Quasi Playback) and a universal remote control. The 19-micron heads have been specifically designed to produce almost as good a picture in the SLP/EP (6-hour) mode as in the SP (2-hour) mode. SQPB allows you to watch an S-VHS cassette, but only at VHS resolution. The front-panel A/V inputs are convenient for quick, temporary connection of components, such as a camcorder. The universal remote control will operate not only the VC-H812U, but also most of your other components, even if not made by Sharp. Other notable features include auto clock set, auto daylight saving time, a lightning-fast 400x rewind and an EZ setup function. |
