Details: The original Flying Dog Brewery was founded in Aspen, Colorado in 1991 (Chinese Year of the Dog). The brewery was an instant hit and demand for Flying Dog in bottles was so strong that we decided to open a brewery that could brew and bottle beer. Rent in Aspen is pretty high, so we located the brewery in Denver, in a part of town that has now become known as the brewery district. Construction began on the brewery in 1993, and in June of 1994 the first kegs and 22 oz. bottles rolled off the line.<br><br><br>Brewpub: No<br><br>Tours Offered: Yes<br><br>Year Founded: 1991
