The man responsible for the endangered species list is back, so cold-blooded creatures beware. The graphics are better, the guns are bigger, and the guts are more grotesque than ever before. The story of Turok 2 picks up where the original game left off. After defeating Campaigner, Turok threw the Chronosceptor into a volcano. In doing so, he unwittingly awakened an even bigger evil: Primagen, who lies imprisoned in a Lightship. (Moral: Think twice before you chuck your Chronosceptor!) Turok must now protect the 6 energy totems which seal Primagen's cell, and struggle to find the scattered pieces of the key to his Lightship. These tasks will take place in six artistic levels, each with its own unique geometry and texture mapping. In addition to the six Quest Levels, there are five multi-player levels, which cover 30 virtual square miles. Some areas are well-lit, while others are draped in dark shadows. |
