More Information
Details: Eddie Bauer Car Seat with Overhead Shield 02-871 MBP seat is of a good, safe design. The straps are thinner and more twist prone. The top harness slot (which the straps thread through) can also slip down on your kid. Simply said, youre gonna have to be a more vigilant parent with this seat than others. Every time you buckle your kid in, remember that twisted straps or a misplaced harness slot isnt going to protect your child in the event of an accident (in fact it may even harm them). Also, you need to know that the Overhead Shield is a 3-point harness and not the standard 5-point harness, which is what you see on most car seats these days. Some parents are only comfortable with a 5-point harness system but remember that both types of seats meet federal safety standards.
