Details: Since the camp's founding in 1905 by G. Carlton King Shafer, succeeding generations of the Shafer family have owned and directed operations. The more than 12,000 campers who have been placed in the care of our mature, experienced staff for eight, four or three weeks in the summer provide lasting testimony to the worth of our programs.
