Details: Nest is an off-beat, yet sophisticated, magazine about interiors. Its articles tend to be so funny, thoughtful, perverse, and original that its appeal can extend to non-interior design types. While other interiors magazines tend to focus on contemporary decorating issues, Nest goes farther to include essays on historical interior & architectural topics while maintaining a people-centric approach that asks not only about the space in which they live but how their space reflects the uniqueness and eccentricities of its occupants. In addition to their use of a finer variety of papers, each issue comes with its own special quirk which has been in the past a succession of unusual die-cuts, a cover adornment of glittery sandpaper catboxes, or a little plastic lock attached through a hole in the corner.
