This David Twohy (PITCH BLACK) directed time travel thriller was originally intended for theatrical release but was shelved and eventually released only on video. This is surprising considering the quality of the film. It stars Jeff Daniels as Ben Wilson, a single father who is haunted by the death of his wife and is trying to start a new life with his daughter Helen in Greenglen, Illinois by renovating a hotel and running it. However, when a strange travel agent inquires about renting the hotel for nine lodgers despite its dilapidated condition, Ben immediately realizes something is wrong. Soon, Ben finds that these lodgers have an eerie interest in the town and a startling knowledge of the future that alerts Ben to an imminent disaster. |
