Rebecca inherits her grandmother's gothic mansion and celebrates by bringing her best friend and her boyfriend for a weekend (never a wise idea!). While exploring the crypts, they find an old dusty book, which gives a detailed description of the life of a vampire. Unfortunately, the vampire being described turns out to be Rebecca's great grandfather, Rico. A chain of events finds Rebecca inadvertently performing an ancient ritual which brings the old man out of the sarcophagus for the first time in years. Presented by hallowed horror publication Fangoria, this production claims to be the first vampire film made in Denmark since Dreyer's VAMPYR (1932). |
