A Louisiana housewife, Susan Wilson, became an activist upon learning of the secret activities of her next door neighbor. Wilson spotted her neighbor so often that she began to think he was spying on her. Breaking into his home, she found piles of video tapes, all of Mrs. Wilson. The tapes included footage of her making love with her husband, caught in the shower, and other intimate moments. Wilson turned up her own home to discover electrical devices and cameras planted throughout the house. Presenting the authorities with the information, Susan Wilson finds that video voyeurism is not a crime. Wilson then worked hard to bring legislation against her peeping tom neighbor. Angie Harmon plays Wilson in this Lifetime original movie, one of the most popular in the network's history. Harmon would eventually join the real life Susan Wilson in proposing peeping tom video legislation. |
