Details: The hilarious high school comedy POPULAR is sarcastic, self-conscious, and in on its own joke, just like the teens whose mundane and exquisite drama the series captures. Centering around the lives of stepsisters Brooke McQueen (Leslie Bibb) and Sam McPherson (Carly Pope), Popular finds a great deal of humor in the warring cliques of teen girls--and provides sly social commentary in the process. Blonde, wealthy, and sophisticated beyond her years Brooke heads up her high school's in-crowd, along with the vicious and also blonde Nicole (Tammy Lynn Michaels) and Mary Cherry (Leslie Grossman).
