More Information
Details: This vintage travelogue program offers viewers a chance to experience Africa as it existed in the 1930s from the passenger's seat of a Dodge caravan. Though created by Wilding Pictures Productions as a promotional film for the Dodge division of Chrysler, the film also serves the educational purpose of capturing Africa's people and natural resources at a time before western technology had made its mark. Host Armand Davis leads the car through many small villages and amazing locales, where viewers are exposed to ancient cities, native tribesmen, and animals such as elephants.
