While the vintage erotica in this collection may seem tame by today's standards, it was quite risqu? for its time. Often referred to as "stag" films, programs like the ones here typically ranged from eight to ten minutes in length, were shot in 16mm black and white film and--like more recent hardcore pornography--placed little emphasis on character development or plot. Rather, the storylines were merely vehicles for displaying scantily clad and nude women in compromising or explicit positions. The first film in the collection is entitled "Co-Ed Secrets Stag Film," and invites viewers into a girl's college dormitory as a girl goes through a particularly steamy, and bondage-filled "initiation ceremony." Next, "Blonde Stag Film" shows a young woman stripping and revealing her ample bosom for a crowd of excited men. In "Malibu Mermaid" a woman sunbathes on the beach while the camera captures the delicate curves of her body.
