Cook Forest's stand of old growth white pine and hemlock timber, called the Forest Cathedral, is a National Natural Landmark. This is one of the largest stands of old growth timber in the Commonwealth. One of the best ways to see and enjoy the priceless beauty of Cook Forest is to hike the 30-mile trail network.<br><br><b>Directions:</b>&nbsp;&nbsp;The park is located in Clarion, Forest and Jefferson counties. From the east take exit 13 off Interstate Route 80 then PA Route 36 North.
