AEF-380TX is a 32-Bit PCI Bus-Master Fast Ethernet adapter card. The AEF-380TX is the ideal solution for users who are planning to migrate from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps technology. The 10/100 auto-negotiation interface allows users to upgrade to Fast Ethernet at their own pace, one segment at a time. The migration to Fast Ethernet is simple, reliable and cost effective when the AEF-380TX is used for the project. The first step in the user's migration is to replace all of the adapter cards in the computers users are planning to migrate to Fast Ethernet with 10/100 Fast Ethernet Adapters. The next step can be phased in over time as resources allow. The migration is complete when all of the 10Base-T hub are repacked with 100Base-TX hubs, and the category 3 cabling is replaced with category 5 cabling.
