More Information
Details: The WANMultiServer family is a practical alternative to the cost and complexity of a dedicated router for linking remote LANs and routing high-speed TCP/IP traffic over multiple protocols. It provides a direct connection to Sun systems via a SBus Interface Card that is provided with the server. This approach is in contrast to Ethernet-based solutions, and offers significant benefits including higher throughput, reduced network traffic, conservation of CPU resources, easier installation and administration, and substantial cost savings.
