The 2005 LS is available in five models: Apperance, Luxury, Premium, Sport, and Ultimate. The Luxury and Premium feature a 3.0L V6 232hp 24V engine, and the Sport and Ultimate feature a 3.9L V8 280hp 32V engine. An automatic five-speed transmission is standard on the Luxury and Premium, while the Sport and Ultimate offer a SelectShift five-speed automatic transmission. A sport-tuned suspension and a six-disc in-dash CD changer are also included on these models. Available options include 16-inch aluminum 11-spoke wheels, an Advance Trac stability system, the Safety and Parking Package, and a power moonroof (on the Premium). Enhanced safety features include dual-stage driver and passenger airbags and child safety locks.
