Combining high-end surround sound processing with advanced features, the VR-7070s impressive digital surround-sound processing capabilities include THX Cinema Mode, THX Surround EX, Dolby® Digital, DTS®, and DTS-ES (Discrete, Matrix, Neo:6). SRS® Circle Surround II creates an incredible 5.1-channel experience with ordinary 2-channel sources like CDs, VHS tapes and even FM radio. Active EQ by DSP tailors the receivers response to bring the best sound out of whatever type of speakers you have (full-range, satellites, etc) and the type of program youre listening to (Movies, Music, or TV). The VR-7070 delivers 100 Watts into each of six channels in Surround mode, and 100 Watts per channel in Stereo, while its K-STAT Discrete Audio Amplifier, a Kenwood exclusive, helps to ensure the highest possible signal purity. |
