Panasonic DVD Recorders with built-in hard disks also allow recordings to be made to DVD-RAM or DVD-R discs. Using a DVD-RAM disc it is possible to record EP mode for up to 12hours (6 both sides) on a 9.4GB double sided disc. On a DVD-R disc it is possible to record in EP mode for up to 6hours on a 4.7GB disc. DVD-RAM technology also enables advanced functions such as Time Slip - simultaneous record and playback. Other features include a DV input terminal, high speed dubbing from the hard disk to a DVD-RAM or a DVD-R disc and hybrid VBR ensures high quality pictures in any mode. As well as the standard features listed above, the DMRE100HEBS has an built-in 80GB hard disk which allows up tp 106 hours of recording in EP mode and allows easy storage and viewing of still (JPEG) and moving (MPEG2/MPEG4) pictures with the SD card slot. You can record MPEG2, or simultaneously record MPEG2 and MPEG4 onto the hard disk. |
