More Information
Details: Ultra Low Temperature Operation During the spring and fall, basement temperatures typically fall below 65 degrees (F) - especially near the floor. Once the temperature drops below this level, current dehumidifiers quit removing moisture from the air and simply ice up. Even those with dehumidifiers equipped with deicers will begin to freeze up. The deicer will get rid of any ice build up on the unit but ice will quickly reappear. The end result is that the dehumidifier will cycle the compressor on and off frequently without removing water from the air. The Basement Dehumidifier, however, sets a new standard of performance through the use of patented technology that makes it the ONLY dehumidifier on the market that will remove moisture from the air down to 44 degrees (F).
