Details: San Diego's greatest assets are its coastal location, balmy weather, and tourist-focused parks: SeaWorld, the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, and LEGOLAND California. The city offers both the benefits and drawbacks of a tropical cruise vacation: it is highly organized for maximum relaxation and consumption, but visitors seeking culture and history should probably get on a different boat. Old Town, a theme area constructed to look historic, is an ironic twist of an apparent void of everything past tense.
