Details: The El Paso Zoo is an eighteen-acre home to more than 600 animals of 175 species in a variety of natural habitat exhibits including a Reptile House, American Biome, Americas Aviary, Paraje, Birds of Prey, Forest Atrium, Asian Grasslands, Asian Endangered Walk, and an Elephant Complex. The Zoo is a member of the Species Survival Plan (SSP@), an international cooperative captive management program for endandered species and is an accredited member of the AZA, the American Zoo and Aquarium Association.
