Details: The El Colorado-Farellones Ski Area is located only 25 miles from Chile's capital city Santiago, in the heart of the Andes Mountain Range. Situated on El Colorado Mountain with a maximum altitude of 10,963 ft. and a vertical drop of 2,963 ft., it collects abundant and frequent snowfalls, accumulating in an average of 17 feet of snow during a normal year.
