| leenie's Full Review: Champion Underwire Comfort Bra |
I'll be the first to admit that this bra is not the most attractive on the market. If you're looking for a cute, sporty bra to wear as a top to aerobics class, stop reading now. However, if you are looking for cool comfort and EXTREME support during a workout, this is the bra for you.
This model is designed with comfortable lined underwires, thick padded adjustable straps, and venting. I have tried bras of all makes and models, and this bra seems to avoid all of the major pitfalls. Usually, the straps on a sports bra will loosen throughout the work out. However, the straps on the Comfort underwire stay put with velcro. With some of my bras, by the end of the workout, my skin is chaffed by the seems and the fabric between the cups. However, the seams on this bra are strategically placed and are smooth, and the fabric covering the wires and connecting the cups is non-irritating, even with motion. The side venting is great, as it allows the skin to breathe. My liking the vents may be psychological: the fabric that the bra is made out of breathes as well.
As for the "bounce factor," this bra minimizes bounce more than any other that I've found. I find it good for running, aerobics, tae bo and every other work out that I do.
The only drawback that I can think of is the price. This is no cheap bra. However, it is a wise investment. I've owned this bra for over two years, and it looks like new (almost). This is an extremely durable bra. I highly recommend it.
