Stop the stinging
May 27 '00
The best way that I found to stop my tennis elbow was to use a shock absorber. Any brand will work. It is just a matter of personal preference when you choose one. The important thing to do is to ice it after you play tennis. This well prevent swelling and will stop the pain. Often tennis elbow is caused by the way people swing the racquet. Often if you don't swing right, especailly on your serve, tennis elbow will be formed. So go through your swings and make sure that you are no "hacking" at the ball instead of swing.
Tennis is elbow is inflamation of the tendons in your arm. After you have played the best thing to do is to ice you elbow region even if it's not hurting. Next another item used are those straps that go around your elbow while you play. This extra support can really help prevent the pain.
Finally consider taking so time off from the game and let it get better. I have tennis elbow too and to all of you that have it good luck
