There are other kinds of nurses :-) (Reply to this comment)

Bob, you said "The minimal educational preparation is either a 2-year Associates degree, and 3-year nursing diploma, or a 4-year bachelor's degree." But that's for an RN. One can also become a licensed nurse (LPN or LVN) with only one or two years of training.
